By

DM Injury Law is committed to making our community a better, safer, and more productive place. We are proud to be a law firm that makes community involvement such a high priority.

Take a look at just some of the initiatives we sponsored and supported in September 2024!

Uplift Route

DM Injury Law is proud to support and join Uplift to distribute food & water, clothes, hygiene kits, and other necessities that serve those in need. That night, our van serviced the Midtown area, where we served 95 individuals.

Do Good Foundation’s Mobile Food Bank

In partnership with Harvesters, the “Do Good” Foundation offers monthly food distributions to service their clients and other residents of Kansas City’s East Side and beyond facing food insecurity.

Here is information on Food Assistance from Harvesters

KCUA Pickleball Tournament

DM Injury Law is proud to support the KCUA Pickleball Tournament. We were a Pickle sponsor, so our own DM Team competed! Through our law firm’s community service, we were able to support and aid an entire grade level of an under-served school with KC Urban Advantage programming for one year. Our support allows for high-quality professional development, classroom materials, access to field trips, outreach services, and more!

Familias Empoderadas

DM Injury Law is proud to be a sponsor for Familias Empoderadas in partnership with Latinx Education Collaborative (LEC). This is an opportunity for parents and families to learn and hear conversations on topics of empowerment and education, health, and community initiatives that impact their and their children’s lives.

Literacy KC Golf Classic

DM Injury Law is proud to support Literacy KC’s 4th Annual Literacy KC Classic! Teams of 5 tested their skill on a mini-golf course throughout KC Live! in Kansas City’s Power & Light District.

All proceeds go to continue the great work that Literacy KC is doing to provide adults with necessary Literacy skills, math, and digital skills. Students can also earn their GED and get further help to improve their future!

This networking event is for local Kansas City Latina Business Owners, hosted by the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. DM Injury Law had a great time learning about local business resources and impacts on Latinx businesses and connecting with the Latina business community!

Strutt with Your Mutt

DM Injury Law is proud to support Wayside Waifs’ Strutt with Your Mutt! This is Kansas City’s largest dog-friendly walkathon. Our law firm’s community service for this event went to “provide comprehensive care to more than 27,000 pets and people who are served annually through pet adoptions, outreach medical services, youth education and canine training programs, and community programming, like the pet food pantry.”

We even met a former client of DM Injury Law! He’s the dashing dog in the picture!

High School Football Games of the Week!

The DM Law Foundation has provided over $110,000 in resources to support young athletes through need-based and merit-based awards, as well as the organization’s dedication to coaching education and best practices.

These donations and initiatives will directly benefit hundreds of student athletes across various Kansas City Metro public school systems.

Every week, DM Injury Law chooses and supports a Game of the Week. Here are the Games of the Week in September!

Schlagle @ Center

The Center Yellowjackets had an early lead in the second quarter and held on until the end of the game. The final score was Center – 20, Schlagle – 14.

Topeka Highland Park @ Sumner

The Highland Park Scots shut out the Sumner Sabres with a final score of 42 to 0.
