Born and raised in Frankfort, Kansas, Coleman’s small-town upbringing instilled a strong sense of community in him. He attended Kansas State University, where he played roller hockey and captained the club team in his senior year. He then earned his law degree from Washburn University School of Law.
Outside of work, Coleman is an active member of the community, having coached youth flag football, served as a Rotary Club president, and volunteered at animal shelters. He also enjoys playing in hockey tournaments across the Midwest.
