Growing up around a father who is a lawyer, Grant was drawn to advocacy and debate from a young age. He developed his competitive nature and love for competition through his relationship with his twin brother. As he grew older, he realized that a career in law would allow him to combine his passion for competition, advocacy, and debate. In his own words, Grant says, “A calling to help people during the most stressful times of their lives is what led me to pursue a career in personal injury law.”
During law school, Grant played an integral role in UMKC’s Trial Advocacy Team. He was awarded the Trial Practice Achievement Award, which recognizes the student who made the most significant progress in trial advocacy.
To best serve his clients, Grant steps into their shoes, striving to manage each case in a manner that he would expect an attorney to handle his case. When you work with him, you can expect upfront and honest legal guidance, prompt responses, and respect. Clients know Grant for being straightforward with them and for his compassion, approachability, and careful and persistent work effort.
Grant is a lifelong resident of Kansas City. He grew up on both sides of Stateline Road, going to high school at Rockhurst High School. He earned his undergraduate degree from Rockhurst University, and his J.D. from the University of Missouri Kansas-City School of Law. When he isn’t working, Grant enjoys running, watching movies, lifting weights, cheering on the Chiefs, and visiting the dog park with his dog, Captain. He is also a proud member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church.
