Attorney Oscar Espinoza joins DiPasquale Moore with several years of experience litigating wrongful death and neglect cases, as well as working on the defense side of personal injury law. These experiences have helped shape him into the skilled lawyer he is and give him unique insight when approaching and evaluating cases. Â
Born in Managua, Nicaragua, Oscar immigrated to the United States with his family at just nine years old. As someone who speaks fluent Spanish, he has a personal understanding of the need for Spanish speaking attorneys who can effectively serve the Hispanic community. He decided to pursue a career in law due to a desire to make a difference in the lives of individuals and help them understand their legal rights and the legal process. He also finds law to be fascinating and challenging and appreciates the fact that he’ll never stop learning in his role.Â
As an attorney, Oscar believes in the importance of developing a solid attorney-client relationship. This begins with building good rapport, trust, and communication early on in the process. He takes the time to educate clients regarding the law and how it applies to their specific case. This helps to prevent misunderstandings and allows the client to make informed decisions about their case. His top priority is the well-being of clients, and he approaches all of his cases by focusing on telling the human story and the impact that injuries have on a client’s life. Â
In his free time, Oscar enjoys cheering on our local teams (KU basketball, Chiefs, Royals) and the Baylor Bears, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and watching his son play competitive baseball. He is an active member of the community and serves as a board member at KidsTLC in Olathe, as well as the Wild Souls Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation in Blue Springs. He is also a member of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Greater Kansas City which has allowed him to network with business leaders in the KC community. Â
